Budapest , the capitol of Hungary

Hungarian capital Budapest

Once I get off the train, start looking for where to leave my luggage. This has been something new for me. Until now only in Thessaloniki wanted to leave my luggage at the station, everywhere I went directly to where I sleep. But I was in Budapest for 10 hours just to look, and your luggage weighs.
After some questioning, I found where it numbers. Large boxes in which plugging and against any forint lock them and take the key. I just found them and had to look for an ATM for local currency. Downloaded money. I went back to the boxes and found that the banknote is not - want coins. Wreck. The first box in which I tried was something broken and one Roma jumped on me with gestures indicating he wanted to help me, but actually did not stop watching my hand with the money I was prepared. Although pushed him and told him that I do not need help, he continued to stand and look around me. Ultimately I concluded my luggage checked it and took the key.

And so "kind" local poglenda me smiling in a style I did well tourist, and I thought: I'm sorry, but I am from Bulgaria, veteran in the travel and not getting caught by your petty numbers

At 6 I was a little bit out of the station and walked to
National Stadium

That was my first and only safe destination in the city. This was due to the fact that the stadium is located very close to the station. It was a big sports complex and saw it only from the fence. Then no map and no guide to Budapest is headed in the direction
Danube.

I was hoping to get to the river, but somewhere in the city center. Well after some rotation in the streets came to one of the bridges - Margit. I made a bad impression Homeless, which were lying, especially early in the morning before most of the entrances of many cooperatives eyesore.
Margit Bridge crosses the river,
but it is interesting in that passes by an island which was turned into a park and very beautiful place for recreation and sports. I got out of the island where so early there was no logical people. Only passed permanent children who went to the pool located close to train. Hungary is no accident that one of the forces in swimming in Europe and worldwide. The island was very well maintained and athletics and football stadium, respectively, but to tell about something other than sports facility in the city park on Margit Island is very nice with aleyki and green areas and parks all such things.

I was pretty tired from walking (not that it was much walking, but something very sneakers began to kill me). Came to me quite a logical idea to sit in the park, which in the early hours, was apparently empty. Just went to the alley and saw the serial Homeless sleeping there and gave up. Eventually the pain in the legs I decided it would go until I find a better place.

After continued in the said earlier bridge and came to the opposite bank of the Danube. From there I went along, which has a very nice path for runners and cyclists. Pretty nice impression athletes people in the early hours of the day there I finally found a bench and sat down. I was in a perfect location because the opposite of my other beach is building
Parliament.

It is the second largest building in Europe and certainly one of the most beautiful. The building itself is decorated in Gothic style, but I do not think going into details, because it really is very impressive and should be seen live or at least a picture.

Having rested a little, went on the promenade. It was quite nice that one of the largest vessels that passed through the river was Bulgarian. On my left is the river fell, the right appears a large palace, which is also one of the oldest and impressive buildings in the Hungarian capital.

Once you pass up walking along the street that divided a high hill river. This was
Hill Geller.
I had a lot of time and decided to get to see what is above, but anyway I had no idea how to get back to the station after so much walking on a variety of large and small streets. I felt more like a tourist when I found a mark that leads to the top of the hill, something that I thought made only in the mountains, but you can not work in this landscaped park in the center of a city. It after 15 minutes climbing and I felt like a mountain especially after fatigue from walking on equal, but many streets to before. After some time one goes something like teraska and saw an amazing view over much of the city. But the trail does not end there. A little more walking and going out on top, which is located Citadel, and once again I say this after climbing: A city seemed to already be seen in the majority and one can clearly give you an idea what occupies a huge area. At one point I realize that although I went so long I traveled a fraction in the center of Budapest, but where are concentrated the highest number of landmarks. Looking to find the big stadium and the railway station and oriented roughly which direction to follow later. Citadel and surrounded by the other party start to come many tourists brought by the various coaches. I hold a comfortable bench and admire the view, it was amazing seeing the other part of town.
Yes, at one point I think a little sucks to be alone in this place. But in the next enjoy the city without for holding back with absolutely nothing. And this country can see the castle, which overlooked earlier, but in all his brilliance on top. Forgot to mention that at the foot of Geller has
Turkish bath
.

Typical of its architectural style. Just sit and watch the city - explore it with his eyes, looking for its end, but he seemed to have no end. Descending from the other side of the hill. For some tracks - all alone, not in the way of buses that come with tourists. I can not believe that such a cosmopolitan and vibrant city, downtown location and it has a nice park where you can not meet anyone. Maybe it's because at that time people have to work and tourists are so commercialized that they are taken by bus from point A to point B. Only somewhere between points leave them to walk and have "free time" to Eddie how his hours but in places where it is filled with other tourists. Then surely many of them said I looked in Budapest Parliament, the Castle, Bridges, Geller was on the hill and all this for 3-4 hours.

Well, I was only there that treat them otherwise is walking alone through the park Geller free to do whatever you want, do not drive me to the bus-top where you can shoot for 10 minutes banal panoramic views of the city. I've been traveling around, so at one point I felt like a local.

In the next again went to the riverside street with all the traffic and movement. I crossed the bridge adjustment that had to lead me towards the station and began to walk across the River. Nearby was
Nice, but no ATMs. Well had already walked 20 minutes downtown - including 10 minutes on the street and no ATMs and bureaux de change - ball. Offices so as there was on this street do not know if there throughout Sofia. At one point I felt stupid that I decided as a modern citizen of the world (not the third de) got money in the card, but not available to Bulgarian currency exchange. Even Hungarian I was running out, but the station in the morning you little exchanged - then do more. Well, good minds, but has no ATMs in this Budapest, respectively, and accordingly no pocket.
